Just not playing good baseball right now and the competition is just better than us. I certainly didn’t expect a repeat but my expectations were a lot higher than the level of play I’m seeing. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. I’ve reset my expectations and hoping for a 2 seed at home or a close regional. Make the SEC Tournament and see what happens.

This is my thought, too. We seem to be headed there. I knew we would drop off some after last year but not like this.

Just watched Jays presser. Not gonna say he didn’t make some questionable decisions, but this team is frickin soft. That’s also what I took from his general attitude. Second adversity hits we fold like a bunch of pansies. Gonna need to do some soul searching, because the talent is there to be good. Just need to sack up and get out of our own way.

Basically talked about the ejection.
Was disappointed in the response of the team. Looks at today’s game in two different games. Before and after ejection. Disappointed in competitiveness after game.
Seemed to harp a lot on willingness to sacrifice in order to compete. Said personnel changes need to be changed and baseball needs to be improved on, but kept going back to competitive energy.
Says he knows the guys care, but there has to be improvement in how they compete and play the game. Said the last 3-4 innings of today’s game was the worst hes seen in years.

Also should note that Koki Riley said that they were stalled waiting to go in until about 20-30 min after game. Typically that’s not the case. Jay was in the locker room with the team. I hope there was an arse chewing Augie style. Iykyk.

I'm still sure they got locked out because CJJ was finishing off some Torchy's. (inside joke).
Yeah, I hope CJJ was being point blank. It's the opposite of Friday night and this is winning baseball.
