“ ACC was a dumpster fire “

I don’t know were you guys come up with this stuff. In the last four years, the ACC has played in three national championship games and won two of them. In that same time period, the ACC had almost as many teams ranked in the top 10 as the SEC did.

In the last five years Florida State has won 59 ball games. I don’t care what power five conference you play in, that’s pretty damn good.

Yes, the ACC sucked before the rise of Clemson in 2011-12. NC state also has been coming along. Now Miami is rising again. The ACC is completely different now that it was 5-6 years ago.

If Florida ever gets its act together, JF may struggle to make bowls every year!!!

It's really hard for such an incompetent coach in his first year on the job at a new place with new OC, WR and RB coaches while playing over 30 freshmen to be so much better than a NC winning coach with more talent than most of his conference.

Hard but can happen !!!

In his first year on the job with a new OC and playing over 30 freshmen. Not bad at all !!!

Jimbo has to play one freshman and is 2-5 on the season.

You do realize that was posted before one single down of football was played, right?

The preseason polls and rankings are a crapshoot. BYU is possibly having their worst season ever. Florida is extremely fortunate to be 3-3 (easily could/should be 1-5) going into the Georgia game. Up to this point of the season, LSU has played a very average schedule.

The Auburn win looks good, but other than Alabama, the teams left on the schedule are pretty poor. No way in hell has LSU played, up to the end of October, or will have played the third toughest schedule in college football when the season is over.

How about Mississippi State? That game was disgusting. Looked like the entire team quit during that game.

And Jimbo's team did better last night against a 4-4 Boston College team that starts a freshman QB and lost their best defensive player for the season?

It's okay for Jimbo though, right?

LSU didn't quit, they managed to turn things around because of their unwillingness to quit, there was doubt that creeped in during the losses, team had no identity, but that's been all erased. LSU is a very confident team right now.

Alabama game can't get here soon enough to show some here just how much.

I don't give a flying frick about Jimbo Fisher (not a fan), Florida State or Boston College. Nowhere in my post did I mention anything about those teams. I'm talking about LSU, and the way the team quit against Mississippi State is unacceptable. Plain and simple.

Again, I'm not a Jimbo Fisher fan, so I don't give a hoot about his teams quitting on him. I am concerned about the LSU team quitting on a coach and in a game and that's exactly what happened to Coach o and what happened against Miss. St.

It's amazing to see how fans like yourself aren't concerned by the things that happened during that game. Kinda shows you're not a LSU fan, just an o fan.

It's amazing that you haven't watched any of the LSU games since early in the season. Are you going to be crying about that game next season also?

You just jump into any thread regardless of the subject to go off on LSU and their coach?

“ shouldn’t be held over the man’s head forever”

Come on! It’s going to be held over his head until he has proven by the product he puts on the field that he is not the same type coach. And LSU getting beat by Mississippi State worse than it ever has been and by losing to Sunbelt Troy does little to show that Coach O has put anything behind him.

The LSU football fan is not to blame for the LSU powers that be putting an unproven coach in charge of the program.

With all due respect to Coaches O’s wins as an intern coach, there is night to day difference between totally running a program and managing what has already been established for a few games. That should’ve been clearly demonstrated by the two embarrassing losses we have suffered.

Coach O might turn out to be an outstanding college football coach, but, to this point in time, that’s highly debatable.

Wouldn't say its highly debatable, it's not as doubtful, the Alabama game should give you a clue where LSU is headed, no one doubts Bama's depth, talent, ability or coach. No one doubts Alabama's ability to not look past LSU.

Everything favors Alabama, but you won't see LSU quit next Saturday night! LSU might even shock the college football world. Sauce told me so.

How the frick do you know which games I've watched and which games I haven't? For the record, I've watched all the games except Chattanooga and Troy. I listened to those games on the radio. And during all those games, LSU looked like hot garbage until the last few minutes of the first half of the Auburn game.

But you keep pounding your chest over those convincing wins against BYU, Florida and Ole Miss.

What the frick is this thread about dumbass? Read the fricking title. Op said that Orgeron's team hasn't quit on him. I disagree and use the Mississippi State game as my proof. It's a damn shame that you can't comprehend the things you read, if in fact you actually read them.

Keep crying about the early season games. Someone has to and there's no one better than you. Me I'll continue to live in the current and look towards the future.

Ask Jimbo about that.

If the same thing that happened at LSU happened at FSU, the LSU idiots would say:

Well Jimbo in his first season as HC. Jimbo has a brand new OC, WR and RB coach. Jimbo is playing over 30 freshmen. Give Jimbo time, it's not his fault.

But, since it's LSU and Coach Eaux people tear him and his 6-2, 3-1 record a new one and at the same time make excuses for Jimbo who is 2-5 and 2-4.

Jimbo coaches for a team that recruits the same players as LSU. Jimbo has told LSU to suck his arse not once but twice but thanks for the big raises idiots. So yeah, lets suck him off like he is the savior of the LSU football program.

Very fricking WEIRD !!!
