Chelsea's is a bar about 5 - 10 min. off campus and is pretty laid back with live music. They also have some pretty good food for lunch and dinner

Go down to New Orleans for a night and go to OZ Nightclub. They will treat you real nice there. Across from there is the a bar called "the Pub". Great place to have a cocktail! LOL

They've got pretty strict regulations here, you may want to make sure to pack your assless chaps.

"I suggest you go to the Varsity which is next to Chimes. It's got A/C and several big screens to watch all the games of the day. They have plenty of beer and mixed drinks, plus you can get food."
Is there anywhere in South Louisiana that this is not the case???
-SilverB's:
Go get a Gameday Steak at Fred's - you can walk over to tailgating after that. They start serving steaks before 10am.
It is the best pre-tailgate you can do - . Then go tailgate and drink and eat brunch at 11am, drink and eat lunch at 3pm and one last belly filler at 5pm with drinks...then eat some Tiger dogs at half-time.

Varsity is def. the best place to watch a game.
I think they are doing thirst and 10 again on gamedays this year.
10 bucks, all you can drink draft beer.
which is ridiculous.

Try that place next to Serranos by Chimes. I may be wrong but I think its called Raul's. Its a little burger shop thats been voted "Best Burger" quite a bit. Chimes is a must. Dont know if anyone said Cane's.

Why would he go to Canes? To get over cooked un flavored chicken tenders?

Raul's is delicious. It's right by the Cane's on the corner of Highland Rd. and I think E. State St, if the UGA fan needs a reference point.

Canes is franchised. I live in Lexington and they have one up here now. They have like ten UK flags flying on top of it...
it just ain't right.
I haven't been in there to see if it has the story on how it was created...the one about how the concept came from a business proposal for a class at LSU and he got a C on it...yadda, yadda.

Why would he go to Cane's??? Cause its a franchise that started at LSU. My first game thats what I had and it was incredible. Still love it. Sucks they are not just local though.
