LSU could have played their way into the NCAA tournament on the final regular season weekend of 2006, 2007, and 2011 but they weren’t able to.

2026 is the first time in 40+ years the season ended before the last game and it looks like the team knew it with how they came out to play tonight.

We get it, this team is bad.

Paul would tell Jay that this team just needed some smaller quality contact hitters.

The most frustrating thing is so many blown leads. Many opportunities for another 5-6 SEC wins no problem with decent relief pitching. I’d add bad defense especially earlier in the SEC season.

This is the worst pitching staff I've ever seen at LSU. Even the starters are nothing special.

It bears repeating as much as it takes so it doesn't happen again

This team would be pretty decent even with the 2022 staff.

The 1988 team could have made a 64 team field. It was only 48 back then.
