I didn't even read the post since the title of told me all I needed to know. "First time I have watched the Oline in a game" Why the hell would you make a post about your opinion on the offensive line issues if this is the first time you have ever watched the Oline closely. Sounds like an expert to me. Some of you guys man.....

I was pretty much reserved that the first month of the season was going to be rough due to the OL. Too many new faces. I was hoping to get enough out of the QB and receivers to be able to win the Florida game and hope the improvement was starting to happen by Ole Miss. This is why I was expecting to lose at Clemson. But, the defense has been a very pleasant surprise and bought us some time to get things right.

Teams improve through the course of a season. Hopefully, we find the right mix and get Braelin Moore healthy.

The film study is showing the confusion. Give up 3 sacks and some hurries to SLU, I'd say Ole Miss will do the same or better.

It’s not that they can’t block. It’s that they don’t know what they’re doing, they aren’t picking up blitzes, they aren’t holding their blocks, the RBs are going the wrong way. The entire running game is in shambles from OLine to RBs

What is your experience with scouting/coaching the OL?

They haven’t been great, but it’s possible you have no idea what you’re looking at

Absolutely Davis fault. The inside DT stunted to the RG/RT gap and the RG picked him up. But RG saw DE looping inside around behind and that becomes his man. He hands DT off to OT who is not there and hence blocked nobody. The reason he was not there was he was too slow to recognize the stunt. When OT did see it the DT already had advantage on him and was by him. They did this several times last night. They also ran it on the OG/C on the right side too.

Alright hold on. There were multiple stunts run. 3 different people were at fault during different plays. The Davis fault wasn't even the worst one of them all. Getting a free runner on a stunt on a running play is far worse. The offensive line as a whole besides Tyree has been playing poorly. Need to get the offensive line as a whole to do their job and not worry about the job of the person next to them. DJ Chester likely would have seen time at RT on Saturday to start the game if it wasn't for these BS targeting penalties they keep calling. Targeting is literally like the catch rule at this point.

I actually believe Weston Davis will get better and be a very good player at some point but he is definitely struggling right now which is hurting his confidence and making him play worse. At some point we have to get someone with confidence in there and try to build his confidence up.
