Losing Coffey is giant loss offensively, she really was consistent table setter. But I guess this means McKee will have to grow up quicke

I'm sort of hoping Petty or Daniels can play third and the other hold down second.

McKee will be fine defensively but I suspect she will hit 150-200 points lower than Coffey. This is a major blow and someone is going to have to step up big time.

It’s good to see Bergeron start to produce at the plate. She’s still not doing great but she’s not an automatic out anymore. Hopefully she continues to build. The bats went cold for a couple days. They need to warm up next weekend.

Will be interesting who stays or goes on the staff

What are you getting at? You have obviously come to the thread to shite on LSU softball, so spill the beans. I am curious as to what staff changes you think should happen on a team that is currently 19-0.

This is a veteran team. Torina has done well with it so far and this is the season I think to break the ceiling and return to OKC.

I think Bryce Neal has brought some much-needed Xs and Os hitting instruction and in-box coaching intensity, which was much needed on this coaching staff. So great hire by Torina.

Next season will likely be a step back so let’s hope we translate this good play in the OOC schedule to SEC play.

Actually I have been very positive about LSU softball read ALL my posts, there are 2 excellent hitting coaches on staff typically hitting coaches want to be the singular voice which really it should be….thats all I am saying

Not really. Strength of schedule is hardest and beat #1 Oklahoma. Any teams ranked below them any better? No.

Neal coaches 1st therefore he isn’t in the dugout making adjustments and that is where the great folks make their money

All those downvotes for telling the truth.
Wiki Season History

Don't get me wrong, LSU is a prominent team in Softball, just can't get over the hump of Supers.

I watched the last game vs La Tech, very poor performance by the hitters. Imo, zero adjustments by the hitters, leadoff hit some great slaps but couldn’t beat it out too slow. Why slap with kid on 2nd with 1 out…that’s what they want u to do. Pitching all weekend was excellent

19-0 and the knives are out already. Hard to please some people.
