All of you misunderstood JJ's picture. It was actually a great one handed grab in warm ups.

Shep looks small. He is going to get smoked over the middle in the SEC. Hopefully he can stay healthy...and on the perimeter.

Yes, but as last season demonstrated, he doesn't simply use that release point on slants or crossing routes. He gets on top of the ball

The release point has nothing to do with that.

An over the top release is not a bad thing unless the deliver is slow. If your complaint is that his delivery is too slow, then that would be reasonable.

totally agree, why the f dont we practice with reqular footballs with white on them...

Seriously, there is no reason not to use a regulation colored ball... If we're dropping passes first game we know why...

I dont care if it shouldnt matter what color the ball is, because it does, catching the ball should become second nature, and like it or not, these guys will notice...

Those types of balls are used by a lot of teams. I remember ESPN did a whole segment during MNF on how Marques Colston used them at Hofstra. It's meant to help the receivers concentrate. Gonzales decided to use them this year I think.

There are plenty of SEC WR's who are his size who do very well.

I definitely like the look in their eyes. They seem a determined bunch. Also, I had heard that the off season conditioning was very successful. It definitely looks that way from these pics.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there is more than a few college and professional teams using them in drills. The ones we are using have letters, but I've seen them with numbers. The receiver is supposed to look the pass in and call out the number/letter that is on the quadrant that they see.

JL's eyes are focused but you know that in the back of his mind he is thinking " no pick 6, no pick 6"

With a motion that vertical, if he releases the ball even a fraction of a second late, it dives into the turf. That's what happened frequently last season. His delivery is slow as well.

Travis Dickson is stacked. I think he's the answer at fullback.

The QB throwing that pass has a little "mustard" on the ball.

No, I think the back of his mind is thinking "Let it go.... I don't care who's gonna catch it, just let it go"

I agree with you. He never seems to hesitate (other than against auburn pass to keiland) to throw the ball. I know a lot of people don't want to see Lee play but I like him. I think that he could be a really good QB.
