I forgot about Q Thomas and Trey L. If they're both healthy, we'll have a lot of bodies to work with.

I think scheme wise, LSU will do a lot of stuff similar to the Seahawks.

Seems like Bain and Godchaux might switch in and out at DT and DE. Big Lac might have his spot locked up and I've heard some really good things about Gilmore so he should be in the 2 deep rotation.

DE might be Bain and Godchaux maybe, at least when we go 3-4. During 4-3, Neal and Bower might be the starters. Reading a lot about Neal impressing (this coming a lot from the players themselves).

My early guess at the line rotation at both 3-4 and 4-3

4-3
Bower/Clark
Lac/Gilmore or Thomas
Godchaux/Bain
Neal/Teuhema

3-4
Bain
Lac
Godchaux

Man I wonder how Key and Washington will shake this up once they get here.

Good analysis. Just seems to me they are dead set on using Bain as DE in 4-3 as well. He is "starting" along w Neal bc bower is currently out. But it seems he is in battle w Clark for the first DE off the bench. DE rotation seems tough to predict with each guy bringing something different, I think the position is in great hands and has 5 solid guys to rotate through. I imagine key won't see a lot of playing time early and will be brought on as pass rush specialist. I believe Herron has solidified himself in the two deep at DT with Gilmore

By sitting on the bench and learning. We are stacked on the dline, no freshman is going to dent the two-deep unless he is a superstar.

Which bodes well for us. Getting lineman a redshirt year to physically get stronger and improve their bodies gives us a huge advantage in the future. Look what it did for brockers, Mingo, and Montgomery.

So like Godchaux last year? Key looks like a great pass rusher and could be used on obvious passing downs and work his way to starting by the end of the year. You just never know really.
