If you could get a cheap ticket for the club (think directional school) you can wheel right out to the seats- and go back behind the glass if it gets loud. Verge Ausberry in the ath dept is a very nice guy- I'd give him a call or letter.

Yes there is plenty of places in the lowers you can wheel up to then walk to your seat. Your first game might be a trial and error outing. It won't be too difficult and most of the attendants will be very helpful. Go for it and I'm glad you are bringing another Tiger fan the greatest stadium in all of college football

You're probably right. I just want it to go as smoothly as possible for him. He's waited a long time, and he damn sure deserves to see his Tigers play in person.

The access for those with disabilities is very good.
I really don't know about getting tickets yet, I would email or call the LSU ticket office and see what you might be able to arrange.
I'm praying it works out for you and your son, he'll be blown away! You're a good parent.

Thanks. If I cant the tickets for his birthday, I'm going to work out a POA and surprise him with his first game. One way or another, this is his year.

That's super! That's a great feel good story.
Happy for your family and him.

You can already buy towson, nt, and idaho tickets at lsusports website. Pretty sure most fans will be understanding of someone with a disability. Hardest part will be getting from parking spot to the stadium. Hope your boy has a good time.

It would definitely have to be in the lower section because i don't think he'd do well in the upper deck. I haven't been to a game where I have really paid attention to accessibility, though. I'm not sure how it would work to get to seats with his wheelchair.
With no knowledge of your son's condition I will say this. Do alittle research and regularly ask on here about the upper deck handicap seating. I don't have first hand knowledge of it, but my sister inlaw was wheelchair bound for a period of time and her and my brother sat up there once. They said it was great. Plenty of room and easy to get in and out and you can see everything. The handicap seats in the lower bowl are at ground level and you can't see hardly anything. Good luck, their is nothing like a young kids first trip to Death Valley to see the Tigers play.

What game are you looking at going to? How many tickets? I may have access to 2 wheelchair accessible seats in Sec WC542 Row C Seats 7&8. These are front row of the east upper deck. Access via elevator. Email me at harriseplsu@gmail.com

Call TAF and pose the question; don't expect any breaks from those shysters but their advice should be sound.

But we also have to arrange everything perfectly. he is also high functioning and not prone to fits as long as the food/clothing/handheld video games etc is correct.
