My first game was LSU-Alabama is 2002. I remember being so excited to be there, seeing Mike's cage as well as most of campus before the game. Bama kicked off to us to start and we had a great return called back by a penalty. Then it was downhill from there. LSU got beat 31-0.

vs aTm 1971, eight yrs old. My Dad, Mom, three older brothers on my birthday. If I recall correctly Andy Hamilton found the endzone several times in a big Tiger win. Remember the smell of hot dogs, bourbon, and pipesmokers. Many people still wore a jacket and tie to the games. Felt like the luckiest kid in the world. Before that night it was the same crew and John Ferguson on the radio every Sat night since I was like five. That night took my love for the Tigers to a whole new level.

8 yrs old. 1977 vs Kentucky on a Saturday night. Grandad took me. LSU lost by about 10-12 points, but I was hooked.

1996 VS Tulane, I remember drinking Red Dog beer, buying a Faulk'em up t-shirt and Tulane removing one decal from the side of their helmets because Buddy Teevens got fired.

Went with my brother. That made it memorable enough for me. I can't even remember who they played. I know we sat in the south endzone. I think it was some team from the WAC.

my first game was LSU-Tulane in 1996. My cousin was a cheerleader for TU and her bf (later husband) was a WR. LSU won, I was happy.

2003 UGA.
We could steal kids away from Harvard if everyone got that as their first experience at LSU.

It was the season opener in 68 i think and LSU lead Texas A&M 18-13 with seconds left. The Aggies scored on about a 60 or 70 yd pass play in the final moments to win 20-18. The south end zone was a sea of cadet kahki and went crazy.
A&M didnt win another game that year.

10 yrs. old. 1958 LSU-50, Duke 18! My uncle kept hollering "Give the damn ball to Scooter (Purvis)!" LOL Billy Cannon knocked Bob Brodhead (later the AD at LSU) on his arse.

Mine was in 2004 right after the Championship season vs Oregon State. It came a monsoon minutes before kickoff, and people started streaking on the field. We won the game in overtime because of missed extra points from OSU's kicker, who was perfect every game after that. It was also Jamarcus' TD run late that brought us back to win. Derek Anderson played tough all night. Great game, and great atmosphere despite the rain and close game.
