Next week will be much worse with a home loss to FLA. After that the guys are going to check out completely. Lots of guys will transfer out. Without new talent coming in and developing we will never see the defenses of old return to LSU.

I feel like people say this every time something bad happens. Good thing most of the guys on the team don't give up as quickly as the fans want them to.

To be fair, next game could really be a challenge.
Jayden might be out so a Nuss led offense is something we haven't seen yet and don't know what to expect.
Defense will still be the defense, so you can account for Florida putting up 30-40 points.
I'm not saying players will quit on the season, but you also have to account for guys not being as "locked in" now that an SECCG appearance is off the table.
And draftable guys might start playing "smarter" in order to avoid injury before the draft.
This is all speculation but I think it's a fair thought.

Florida is so tough, they lost at home to Arkansas who hadn't won a conference game.
