1 loss LSU (if loss is to Bama and its close) will make it over any other 1 loss team. People understand these 2 programs are on a different level than everyone else right now

I think you're right, not everybody may want to admit it, but LSU and Bama are the best two teams in CFB hands down. Its almost like LSU/Bama are D1 and everybody else in App State.

The media knows this, the voters know this, the coaches know this.

I agree like everyone else. BAMA and LSU were top 2, but we beat them at their place. It wasn't like it was at TS. Other than Cam beating them, they had a long winning streak at BDS. That was tough to do and we didn't get rewarded shite. Should have played OSU.

F bama, we will beat them on November 3rd and won't have to worry about Mulligan Bowl II

Bring on the Seminoles in Miami. Was hoping for USC, but think they are out. We beat Oregon last year, so I want FSU. Jimbo gonna Jimbo.

Stop with all this "media darlings" bullshite. LSU got into the NC ahead of USC in 2007, so your point is irrelevant and stupid.

We were the SEC Champions then - and the 2 loss team getting a berth in the big game was strong evidence the anti-LSU bias was easing. (USCw lost 2 games that year, too.)

Slackster - do you deny the assertion that, had LSU lost to UGA in the SEC Championship game that Bama would have played Okie State for the BCS?

Just deny it - go ahead...

It would happen if the first game is entertaining, which is possible now that both teams can sling it, and if it becomes obvious at the end of the year that Bama and LSU are by far the two best teams.

People wouldn't mind a rematch if the first game isn't like watching paint dry.

Look back at USC in 2007...

Wasn't that the USC team that lost to a 24 point underdog at home?

I 100% deny it. LSU would have been in that game and there was nothing any bias could do about it. LSU would have been a clear cut #1 team in all of the computers and would have most certainly gotten into the BCS Championship.

It was. I thought it was like a 43 point underdog. My point is still valid though - if USC was such a media darling, how did they get kept out of the game?
