both of them running down our qb.
well, this will play out. burrow has started 4 games, each with a different oline. he's led the team to victory, but it's true that if we don't get a lethal passing attack put together we can't compete for the championship.
I hate to see them getting down on joe so bad, but it is what it is. I hope they have to eat those words by the end of the season.

Burrow hasn't looked great, but he hasn't turned the ball over either. It is a concerns when he struggles against teams like SELU and La Tech anyone who says otherwise is foolish imo.
Ugly wins vs good teams are good, ugly wins vs close to FCS level teams is bad.

We’ve had a couple of good drives killed by penalties. You enormous pussies need to chill and let it play out. Then, right after that, go frick your mothers.

While it stings to hear criticism, it's more helpful for the team and player psyche than if they were praising him.

The passing game usually falls on the shoulder of the QB, for better or worse.
If the WRs were making spectacular plays and Burrow had a few 300 yard days as a result, few would be saying Burrow is average and the WRs were making him look great.
Bottom line is the passing game has to get better, but it's shown signs of life.

LA Tech is ranked one spot ahead of LSU in total defense. They are far from a bad team or “close to FCS level.”

I mean...you can say the WR drops are part of the problem, but penalties are not hurting burrows 48% completion rate.
