I could run a power inverter off my car battery if power goes out. Would use some gas to start my vehicle to make sure battery doesn't discharge.
Did this during BR power outage post Katrina so we could watch news and weather. Other than that I am staying home.

Thanks for the heads up advice….. this is my 1st time dealing with cold weather ever in my life.. it’s never gotten this cold before in Louisiana… glad I read this post… Whew…

Monday is fine just cold.
Tuesday in South Louisiana: just stay home.
Might be 15 degrees in BR on Wednesday morning.
I plan to hunker down Monday at 6pm through Wed at noon.
My prediction is 5 inches of snow Tuesday in BR. Will be third largest snow in recorded BR history if its 5 in. 6 in + would be second largest snow in recorded history.
