the "Nix to Twillie" game I listened to in my apartment in Denver on the old WRNO Worldwide

I never get tired of stories like that.

I listened to LSU/UT 2009 CWS game 1 in my car between Memphis and St. Louis on 870 AM with frequent static. The circumstances alone make that one of my all time favorite Tiger moments.

Hester TD against Florida or Flynn to Byrd. It's a tie.

Look no one here has to tell me i'm old, but next season will be my 60th football season in Tiger Stadium, and there have been so many favorite moments. I've always thought the best played game by both teams i've ever seen was the LSU vs. Auburn 1969. Both teams undefeated going in. Day time game likely because it was on TV. We only had one televised game per year back then. And the Tigers (ours) won the game 21-20 because George Bevan a BRHS grad. blocked an extra point. So I guess that was the greatest moment. Yes I was there as a 8 year old for Billy's punt return vs. O.M. in 1959, but I wasn't old enough to realize the importance of that return then. I was a freshman at LSU during the 69 game, also played a little HS football, so i understood a lot better what that victory in 1969 meant for our Tigers.

My best friend and I were there .... I remember the day game and our Dad's sat in another section together. First play was a half back option to Andy Hamilton for a TD. What a great game. Pat Sullivan was the QB for Auburn and his favorite receiver was Beasley.

“Usually when the opposing team does well, the crowd quiets down. All I began to hear was a chant ‘L-S-U, L-S-U.’ It got louder and louder and louder. It was the loudest I’ve ever heard a stadium.”
-- Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt (on the 2003 LSU-Georgia game)

Probably #1

#2 was 72 ole miss 4 second game.

Can't choose between these 3:

May of 1993, sneaking my two daughters who were four and two at the time into Tiger Stadium, bringing them down on the field and letting them run around (my son wasn't born yet).

Being there this year for the Auburn game with my 3 adult children and my son-in-law. Can't remember feeling so proud and blessed.

2003 UGA game, Mauk to Green. That entire game was a religious experience, but that one play resulted in a noise level that left my ears ringing for over a week.
