Tennessee AD doesn’t want Nikki, Some Tennessee fans do!! Nobody wants the Tennessee job so Tennessee AD should just hire Nikki! Nikki is a good coach, I think she felt that being from Tennessee recruits would fall into her lap, that didn’t happen, I think she would probably do a good job at Tennessee.

Nikki may have been a beter in game coach than Warlick. She will have an easier time recruiting off the Tennessee tradiiton and it might be a great hire for them.
If so it would be a great time for LSU to make a big splash and pursue Kim Mulkey who just might be ready to return home. Before all the she is not leaving Baylor naysayers come out I am just saying they need to pursue her and if she turns it down so be it, next big target.

Her base salary at Baylor is $1.65 million.

Agreed , but even if it is she would be worth every penny to get her here for the next 10 to 15 years. Kim has been ultra successful in everything she has done. Getting LSU back to elite status would be a hell of a lot easier than it was rebuilding Baylor.

There is absolutely no way she takes a pay cut to coach at a school she has Zero ties to.
If she wanted to go home....she will be next coach at LaTech.
Sure she would sprint to Baton Rouge to work for a wizard AD like Alleva after the stellar way the Wade saga has been handled.

LSU should offer to pay part of her salary at UTe, NFL style. However, knowing our dolt AD, he will give her a big raise and contract extension based on rumors of her interviewing.

From a pure baskeball perspective Mulkey has a far better situation in place at Baylor. She likely only leaves there for LSU to be close to her mother. Otherwise she stays at what appears to have evolved into the best program in the couintry.
