Fans on Yahoo react to Kentucky coach saying controversial shot should be review-able

Hochmut - "From former college official--it was good; easy call. Now, I've been a proponent all along to eliminate the Offensive basket interference. The way I see it, the offense should be able to dunk, ball on rim take and slam, whatever is available. Why do we penalize the offense on their own shot being good or not?"

Gregory -"Kentucky player's hand clearly in the LSU net; defensive interference goaltending.. 2 points for LSU. End of game. LSU wins, end of story."


Robert - "They blew an 8 point half time lead, missed free throws and putbacks and we're harping on a last second shot. UK should learn to add 1/2 + 1/2 = 1 whole game."


EC - "This is coming from a UK fan: The shot was good, no goal tending. How about blocking out and not blowing leads? Too many players in the frontcourt and sprinting back to defend. LSU won the game."


Y - "Huge UK fan and the refs made the correct call. The reason we lost is that we have no half court game and our defense was horrible in the 2nd half. Hats off to LSU, they played to win."


Dan - "It's only "controversial" because UK lost. Maybe they shouldn't have lost an 8 point lead at home."


Joe Saxon - "Out hustled and outcoached, 6 seconds and no Kentucky players (2) in backcourt . 2 Should have been split both sides of Def - lane .. You don't JUST win."


Rock Chaulk- "Basket was good, and besides, there was a UK hand shooting up through the net and rim when the ball was on the rim...that is defensive goaltending. If the refs could review goaltending they would have called that...basket good!"
