well i honestly think LSU was trying to figure out how many student tickets there were going to sell to general admission in the wake of mardi gras. there were at least 6 sections in the upper deck that were completely empty. there is no way they wont let you in. you just may have to wait til a few minutes before the game.

Nobody even cares about Mardi Gras on Tuesday Night. Hell, the only two days I care about are Saturday and Sunday. Every other day to me is irrelevant.

I agree. This game is huge and the fans better be there to do their part. I would like nothing better than for us to be that little cocky arse UF team. To me, this is the biggest game of the year. Wish I could be there and do my part, but 700 miles separates me from my alma mater so, I'll have to settle for being there in spirit.

Always seems to be some rationalization regarding hoops crowds at LSU.
1) The students are not in school (even though most live well within driving distance) during the holidays.
2) It's Valentine's day...LOL!!
3) Bad weather.
4) Now it will be it's Mardi Gras.
And the season's almost over.
Now folks have a right to do whatever they wish with their time. Maybe they enjoy what they are doing instead of going to the games more.
Doesn't make me a better fan than them because I do go.
But for those of us who do love LSU basketball it's been fun and my enjoyment is not dampened one bit.
Yeah, it would be nice for the kids to get a packed house for what they accomplished this year. Lot's of seniors who gave some good years here. But it is what it is and those of us who will be there just need to show them some appreciation.
