75 percent of the BAMA fans i encountered were total pricks but the ones who were nice were extremely nice. The tools were mostly college students or dumb rednecks. If they looked civil they were. We were holding down NN2 so it didn't sound very loud to me but we weren't on the field level. The million dollar band and the in stadium pre game pep rally by big Al were terrible.

The fans I sat around were great, They cheered hard for Bama but were quick to point out the good things the Tigers were doing and were very personable. There was one guy sitting two seats down from us that was a complete dick, went on about "this was his house, and nobody from outside can come in here and talk shite" This was when we were simply cheering for a good LSU play. Another LSU fan made the mistake of putting his hands on him by patting his shoulder trying to ease the tension. That's when we got the "I just got out of the penitentary! don't put your Mother F'n hands on me! All the Bama fans around were apologizing for him. Said that they have had to put up with him for years. If I were to get those seats for the game in 2013, I would go again, everyone else around made up for that arse hat.
They were also upset that the "Golden Band from Tiger Land" didn't perform at halftime, said that LSU had the best band hands down.

I was at all of them, but I can take off the P & G glasses and appreciate a great atmosphere.
What's beyond ridiculous is making a comment about something when you weren't even there.

Yes, their was a couple of guys scream the F
word directly aimed at LSU & Fans in the first 5 minutes of the game after Bama made a few short and I think he thought it was going to be a blowout. I swear it took all I could do to keep from telling him what an idiot he was. Myself and other LSU Fans just looked at each other as if to say "We are in enemy territory, I gotcha back" if these idiots get any more crazy. We were all stuffed in the Upper deck endzone where the game finished with LSU final field goal. After the game there was "No Emotion" they couldn't believe we won.

i thought it was louder throughout the game in 07 & 05 minus after HB7's penalty and we were backed up in the endzone/on the ensuing drive. I thought WVU was louder. Also I vote UF & WVU fans the worst.
i got separate from my group and when i was walking to mee tup w/ them, i hurridly was walking past some butt-hurt gumps. When I passed them they started asking me if I was ok with riding JJ, a guy who beat up a marine, all the way to a national championship. "How could you support a guy who beat up a marine, who defends our country and risks his life for it?" I started w/ the JJ didn't know he was a marine and neither would you have argument. He kept pressing so I told him JJ didn't do it and he called me an idiot. Then he said you "at least have to admit Miles is an idiot." I said you're right he's an idiot. He said "did you seriously just call him an idiot?" "you're right. yeah he's an idiot a complete idiot. he doesn't do what good coaches are supposed to do and he can't form a sentence. but he wins. his stats are sick. And you can't plan for him cuz he doesn't have a plan. And this is why good coaches like Saban and Urban hate losing to him.
on the other hand gumps in the stands sought me out to shake hands, told me we deserved/earned it, said good luck, and told me not to let the SEC down and beat whoever we play for the crystal football.

I have a story from the 2008 overtime loss. I was so pissed off I left my group at our vehicle and just walked around for a while trying to cool off. I must have looked like I was ready to chew nails, but a Bama fan approached me, shook my hand, congratulated me on a good game and we talked a bit. It really impressed me and changed my view of their fan base.

Really? Were you at the Auburn game? Those bastards had the entire S.E. lower bowl seats right outside the visiting tunnel and were able to actually start an "atmosphere." I hate this because it seems we give prime seating right where opposing fans want to sit and we get spread out in other stadiums in the very worst seats. It's not an accident that opposing fans at other SEC stadiums or spread out. It's good for their season ticket holders and it makes more sense for season ticket holders. Alleva needs to fix that crap. I'm tired of visiting fans having better ticket options than TAF members.
