only 1 free pass for Schmidt is a good thing to see;
A lot of hits. Clearly hammering the zone.
He’ll be fine though.
ETA:
Cade’s stats are unreal. Love the walk numbers on top of everything too. Seeing the hell out of the ball.

Pearson 13 free bases vs 6 hits. Weird

Fall stats can be deceiving but encouraging. For example, Schmidt gave up hits but I am sure the goal was for him to focus on hitting the zone.

Schmidt has swing and miss in his arsenal. He's a serious competitor, too, outside of the juice and stuff.
Ruckert is the surprise of the fall for me. Granted, we have had some high performers in the fall that did nothing else. Braun is also a nice surprise. I like Harden, too.
Caraway, Simpson, and Dardar will be fine. They get pitched differently than the rookies in the fall, and they should. Same for Reaves. Gonna be a good battle, probably alot of turning parts, at 3B and 2B and maybe DH/1B.

Nice to see Reaves above the Mendoza line.
Wasn't Reaves suppose to be the starting 3B last year? Lol..
