Does anyone know of a website that describes what the real tickets should look like. Or perhaps the description of how fake tickets would look? I have several tickets and 2 of which look different than the rest. The font looks different, the ticket is shorter, and the card stock feels different. Thanks in advance.

There is a yellow mark on the back of the tickets that has a hidden image. saw the tickets yesterday.

How do I see the hidden mark? Is there a way to drive to the ticket office and see if they can verify the tickets?

best bet is to find someone who got tickets from LSU. My boss is a gump and got his from bama and he showed me his tickets.

all of the tickets should be the same size, the markings on the back should be identical the front has a few different pictures, same card stock and all. where ever you got the two tickets you are questioning id make sure i know them.!

The mark had a very very light yellow mark on the right side of the back of the ticket.

They are not MY tickets, but with the company I work for. We have the rest of our tickets from LSU and they all look the same. These 2 came from a a close family member of somoene in our office. We currently have a call in to see where that person obtained these tickets. Thanks for the help. Seems like these are bad tickets.

Yeah I grabbed one of the ones we got from LSU and I saw it. These def have a white mark. The BCS mark on the front looks different as well. The printing looks skechy and the back looks dirty commpared to the rest.

Well turns out the tickets are real.
I had to call a number and they could describe what the ticket should look like. I told her how the 2 I had looked different from the ones I got from LSU and she said that if it has 2 red numbers on the back then I should be good (which it did) She said that those tickets are different because they were printed from their office. So thanks for the help and

For everyone thinking about buying tickets, take a hard look at the BCS hologram and make sure it has the detail that it should. It should be detailed and shiny.

most of the fakes look exactly like the real thing these days. Morons who post there entire tickets in pictures on fb and such drive the counterfeiters, the bar code on a fake will scan if its gotten from a real ticket.
So even if your ticket is "real" and it has been duplicated, you still might be sol.

Another problem is that you can have real tickets that won't work when you get to the gate because someone has converted them to e-tickets, which voids out the real thing. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop someone from also selling the voided real ticket on the street and there is no way to know.
