So stupid. I left with 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter and I am a disloyal LSU fan. You stayed for 4 minutes longer so your a better fan than me. You don't know what your saying with your over generalized statements. I get the drift of your point, but don't start throwing out punches you can't take.

What ticked me off yesterday were the fans leaving in the 3rd quarter. Did you see that?

I bleed purple and gold no matter what. I don't care about wins/losses. I back Les Miles. I back LSU. What I am saying is you don't know the whole truth behind every fan. Many are not deserving of getting tickets, I agree. I just wanted to throw in that because some left early does not mean that they are not loyal fans. All I am saying. I totally agree that leaving in the 3rd quarter is overly extreme. Should I have left with 4 minutes left? For me to decide. But I am definitely a true LSU fan.

Totally agree. It isn't all wins. Remember the lean years? Hallman & Archer & DiNardo ring a bell? Now the new 'fans' get used to winning and expect it all the time. Not just LSU but all schools.

You may be disappointed if your child does wrong, but you still love and support them.

LSU football is like my baby. The disappointment of a Florida loss or a Georgia loss is far outweighed by the greatness of LSU athletics. But don't pout and be a spoil sport.
UGA took advantage of our mistakes. We need to improve and not make them.

Remember, it is a football GAME. The players are young men aiming for a career. Not Professional as a job. A lot of these young men are dealing with life and football problems. They learn to adjust to become better men.

Another thing is that I've left games before when LSU is kicking . Its just too general to be disgracing all fans who left early. A majority maybe so.

Just trying to spice this post up.. Don't get too mad. have fun geaux tigers

its not you we are upset about. the 10,000 people who left in the 3rd quarter and another 35,000 that left in the beginning of the 4th WHEN THE GAME WAS NOT OUT OF REACH by any means are the people we are talking about. when the game is offically out of reach and they are going to be taking a knee soon it is different. i left with 1:20 left because i was in the UGA section and didn't want to take part in their celebration

But he probably stayed til the end of the game!! So these fools around here would say he was a better representation of this fan base than the rest of us.

leaving when they are winning is just as bad. its just a shame that when most other teams are kicking arse or losing badly their fans don't leave at nearly the same rate as lsu fans. that is the point. lsu fans leave earlier and at a higher rate even after we have won 2 bcs championships in the last 5 years. very depressing

It's just a trend I see more and more. I see different people sitting around me for every game. They show for one game and are usually the ones leaving when the Tigers are down in the 4th and booing the kids as they come off the field at halftime.

I can't explain how angry it made me last year when the Tigers were booed while entering the locker room at half during last year's Auburn game. The same guys that were booing weren't there when Byrd caught the game winning TD. I guess they had to beat traffic.

It's become more prevalent over the years.

Is this unquestionable fact or just conjecture to support your argument?

Right now there's a guy still sitting in Tiger Stadium, and he thinks you're all pussies for leaving last night.

???

I never heard the Tigers booed last year, but I didn't make the Auburn game. Guess my hearing is off.
