Exactly. That, and McCarron crying after the close win last year show how much respect our team gets from them.

wow. now we have moral victories instead of worrying about getting a sec title (like we pay miles big bucks for) every 3 years(which should be the goal). Pathetic.

Though this is off topic, I can't really argue with anything you said. My only question is about backing into the championship in 2007. Who else should have been in that game? I understand the sentiment that LSU shouldn't have lost two games and had to have other teams lost to get in, but that happens every year. Unless two undefeated teams are in it someone has to have help. I've just always wanted to ask that question. Is that statement saying that LSU wasn't the best team in 2007? If so then who was?

And now the moral victories are transforming from being about the team playing well to the opposing players and coaches smiling and/or crying.

no, not at all. But if you go back and watch those two games (yes, i have them on DVD) we did a crap job of coaching and having them ready. But, what's new? That team should have been undefeated.

, but you can throw out the first meeting since Bama was rebuilding in Saban's first year

Ok then we get to throw out our rebuilding year after the 2007 season too.

Only a true pumper could equate a coach in his first year at a new school and rebuilding an entire program to a coach in his 4th year at a school that was playing with pretty much entirely his own players.

That's the only response you could come up with? You really are just full of hypotheticals and what ifs. A true pumper, dedicated to your craft.

Is cam Robinson switching on signing day or something?

While they aren't the same, I wouldn't say they are far apart. The defense lost alot after 2007 and you were starting a freshman at QB. Bama was 10-2 and 6-7 under Shula's last two years. I'm pretty sure though the 6-7 year was JPW's first year at BAMA. They weren't complete shite as some make them out to be.

You all can wallow in sadness all you want, but Les Miles is still the winningest coach in LSU history, led LSU to 2 NC appearances, 1 NC victory, 1 GOTC victory, LSU's first ever undefeated season (in dominating fashion, might I add), and is still doing great on the recruiting trail.

Yes, the Ole Miss loss this year was tough, but Ole Miss is on the rise, they played tough, and LSU was playing 8 weeks of football without a break.

Not a great excuse, but those of you who are putting the Ole Miss loss on Les Miles are ignorant as ever.

Our team still almost won after 3 interceptions thrown in the endzone.

Did Les Miles throw those picks? Nah.

Apparently Lsu is also undefeated in moral victories this season.

Not an excuse at all. LSU and all teams used to play 10 consecutive games without batting an eye, before the season expanded to 12. Suddenly the poor little things can't play 8 consecutive? Please.

Pure unadulterated jubilation of course. What you'd expect after a win over your mortal rival.
