Sure. But that's the whole point of collective bargaining. The players and owners negotiate what is a reasonable face restriction. They'll figure it out and everyone will make millions or billions of dollars, all while laughing at us consumers.

Let’s say they have those. What about when players take out their mouthpiece and spread saliva?

That’s never gonna work. those that have never played simply don’t understand the amount of oxygen and airflow needed to perform. Requiring athletes to wear this would risk huge health liability for a player heat stroking out and or death.

This x 1000. Could you imagine practicing in August/September heat in that in the South? Those conditions are brutal enough without air restrictions.
