Oh yes...I spell one word incorrect and you have a problem with that.
Actually, you "spelled" the word "incorrectly".

Good thing the guy was drunk or he might have killed himself.

People have fallen over the rail before. My mom saw a woman fall over and my husband was there when a man fell over. You'd think LSU would raise the fence by now. It is not high enough to prevent a tall person who loses balance from going over.

Im exactly the same. Finally realized I couldnt handle the shite and got some help. When I look at drunks now it revolts me that I use to act like that. The only game at LSU I went to was last years Arkansas game and had some great seats in the club level. One guy (about 50) was throwing up about 3 seats over at the end of the first quarter.
Ive developed a hatred for the smell of alchohol and it was sickeningly thick in that area. But to each his own. Im blessed to be off that shite.
Some of these people don't realize that if they can't help themselves from being sloppy drunk at football games, the school will by banning and enforcing alcohol and drunks from entering the stadium. The school has always been lax on this but you can bet they will begin to crack down on tailgates and in stadium drinking if people don't self police themselves a bit.

This has been my point in the cursing, drunk, "suck that tigers dick", etc. arguments on these boards. As LSU fans we can argue all day long, but the bottom line is simple.
If people don't at least attempt to correct this crap (e.g. not cursing around kids, stumbling around drunk) the school will do it where it affects every single person in the stadium. So we all get punished for other assholes problems.

Well, by your own admission, he was drunk at that moment in time. You, of course, have no idea what his emotions were when he sobered up. He may have felt profound remorse and apologized profusely to the "old man."
Means nothing. That does not excuse his negligent actions. He allowed himself to get to that point, where his actions could cause harm to others. This sounds like he didn't care about the man he fell on. I also doubt that this is his first time to be drunk and, if not, then this pattern of behavior shows a lack of caring about anyone except himself.
quote:
His actions certainly weren't commendable, but to dismiss an entire human being as a "piece of shite" because he got drunk and unintentionally fell is absurd and, more to the point, grotesquely arrogant. He was a clumsy drunk, not Josef Mengele.
Why is is such offensive to some to call a piece of shite what he really is? Nobody forced him to become so drunk that he would fall off of the south upper deck and seriously hurt someone, and then not be concerned about it in the least. Nobody said he is a monster, just a POS. Your Mengele comparison is absurd.

I'm actually glad you are worried about my gramer. That at least makes one of us.

It wasn't until the second page of this thread when someone posted the section number that I realized that someone fell form the upper level of the SEZ to the lower level. For the entire first page I thought someone had fallen from the UPPER deck into the SEZ & survived. I was thinking there is no way that is possible.

Seems like this should be bigger news than it is--it's not like it happens every day.

Ditto for the PMAC's upper level--I've nearly fallen over that railing before.

wow that is fricked up. I was sitting in the first row of the upper deck and that is quite a fall!
