So Orgeron is better because he beats Arkansas? That's the measuring stick?

The OP asked why Eaux was an upgrade over Miles. Unless you like losing to Arkansas and Ole Miss my post should be pretty self-explanatory and very obvious.

Miles lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas last three years. I see Orgeron is 4-0 last 2 years. Now explain to me how you don't see any difference.

Ok. So, since we have now lowered the bar to needing to beat Arkansas and Ole Miss, I'll add one to your list.

Orgeron 2017

That’s a good way to avoid grappling with facts. Introduce an unknown. Even better propose a Negative hypothetical.

What if we both had cancer,AIDS and were blind ?
Would that change things ?

Which is why adults discuss the facts of a thing.

Let me just start this off by saying I 100% wanted Miles gone. It was passed time when we finally let him go. However, I wanted him gone under the assumption that we would hire a BETTER coach than he was.

So, please provide me with logical reasons why Orgeron is any better, because it looks exactly the same to me.

- Miles always recruited well. I think Orgeron has done a good job of recruiting as well. Even considering the lower ranking last year, I'll still call this a wash between the two.

- Miles coached teams always showed up for big games, and sometimes won in dominant fashion against teams they maybe shouldn't have beat. Same can be said for Orgeron, with Auburn last season and Georgia this season.

- Miles coached teams usually played very much down to weaker opponents. Orgeron has done exactly the same.

- Miles forgot how to beat Bama, and looked terrible on offense in those games. Exactly the same as Orgeron.

- Miles consistently won 9-10 games a season. Orgeron is on pace to do just that.

Save me the 8-2 argument, because it's no better than Miles usually did. I don't see why we should just be satisfied we are 8-2, when we have done it in such sloppy fashion. Had we been 8-2 without looking so totally garbage on offense against Southeastern, LA Tech, Arkansas, as well as other games but I'll overlook them because the defenses we faced in those games were solid, then that 8-2 looks better. You can't just pound your chest pointing at 8-2 while ignoring the massive issues we are having, with no improvements being shown.

When was the last time we were even remotely in the relevant discussion for CFP or NCG? Oh, and CEO damn sure hasnt done this with Miles players and staff...

Like I said many times on here, I am not an O pumper or hater. But damn we have some dumb people on here. Did anyone on this board pick us to win the NC this year? Did anybody pick us to do what we have done so far?

Please just stick your pacifier back in and go back to sleep.

Perhaps because Ole Miss wasn't locked up in a probation, and were a respectable good team back then. Arkansas was also a good team. Both teams are now complete garbage.

Have you not seen people propose the opposite hypothetical of LSU finishing 10-2 and in a NY6 bowl?

I'm simply asking about the other side of that hypothetical. Is it only ok to discuss one side of the situation?

Some people picked 10-2. Even more picked 9-3. Both of those are realistic possibilites, so yes people picked it.

Are we supposed just be happy that we are 8-2, and ignore the fact that we have one of the worst offenses in the nation?

Fair point.

Having beaten Aggie every year since 2011 And watching both teams this year I don’t see it as a stretch to speculate that we can do it again. Also , given the criticism of our fan base, I think it sets up nicely for us psychologically, in much the way UGA did.

Good point that I was wondering about myself.

It's like someone asks a question and I answer with facts of what has actually happened and I get some stupid shite like "SO, you are saying the Chinese were on the moon before the US?"

I'm like "No you fricking stupid idiot. I am saying what I fricking posted. Les lost to Arkansas the last couple few years and that has changed. Can you fricking read??

No doubt we can, and should beat aTm. I really hope we do, and finish 10-2, with a NY6 bowl. At the end of the day, it would mean a very successful season.

That still does not hide the fact that the offense has been down right terrible though. That needs to be fixed.

All I did was ask if beating Arkansas was now the measuring stick for a successful LSU coach? I didn't know it was lowered from Bama.

What about Florida? Orgeron is 1-2 against them, whereas Les was 3-0 in his final 3 years. If we are cherry picking who to compare them to, why not use UF?

And then there is Troy, but you will continue to ignore that.

Okay, when was the last time Les was ranked #7 in the CFP poll after the Bama game?

Are we going to ignore that?

You don't know that LSU will stay at #7. shite, they might drop a few spots this week. If LSU finishes around that #7 spot, with a 10-2 record, and a NY6 bowl then it will be a successful season without a doubt.

But does all that mean we should not be concerned about the offensive production?

Just continue being miserable. There is nothing you can say that will drag me down to your level. As there is nothing I can say to make you feel any different.
