Excited to be going to my first game in TS in quite awhile for Texas A&M

I've gone to some neutral site games here and there, but I haven't been in Tiger Stadium in probably close to a decade or more now. Coming from NOLA and dealing with it all, I just haven't been able to make it. And my wife (no pics) has not been to a game in TS since she was a child in the early 90s.
Was offered some free incredible tickets for the A&M game and couldn't pass it up.
Where are the best places to attempt to park these days, enter to avoid 5 hours of traffic, hang out during the day pre-game, hang out after the game to wait out the traffic, etc?

You trying to go back to NOLA after the game? That honestly determines where you park, is where you’re trying to go to after the game.

Yes. I doubt I would find a decent hotel or Airbnb that wasn't absurdly priced

I like parking on the north side off campus. Between Nicholson and Highland. I’ve done this for the last 20+ years. I usually stay the whole game though, so getting out and back to New Orleans isn’t that bad.

Pay to Park in somebody's hood yard or apt complex by Burger King on Aster or somewhere around there..that side of campus. Leave the game and head anyway you can get downtown, Highland, Nicholson...just get downtown. Once Downtown...get on the the interstate I-110 and head towards get on the interstate going towards College Dr....in general...I-10 back to Nola. Even Gov't St..Fla...Airline...even catch the interstate at Pecue, Siegen....a good ways to catch the interstate further down. The key is not sitting in traffic on surface streets. Go downtown...then circle back on the interstate out of town

Yall are the best. Was thinking about over by Cedar Hall or something North of Campus, so that Burger King makes sense

I've literally had friends make it past Lafayette even to Lake Charles while People are still sitting on River Road Burbank trying to get home off Bluebonnet.
Getting into the campus, Darlymple is usually stacked. I'd go down one further...take the Louise Street exit and go left weaving to Highland I'd that way. People take that exit...but not a huge amount.

Made my first trip back since Arkansas 2011 last weekend to see the beginning of The Lane Dynasty, man it was nice.
I highly recommend Stadium Club, especially if there is a two hour rain delay

If I were you, and were willing to spend a little money, I'd get a parking pass off of StubHub. We use our normal RV pass for the Clemson game, and were able to get a pass off of there for $75.

it will. Takes away having to park in the hay lots. No matter where you park, leaving the game will most likely be a bitch, but that comes with the territory.

As for parking, we also were heading back to MSY post game, but luckily were with season ticket holders as well who knew someone on Dalrymple and had set up parking there ahead of time, which made for an easy exit back to I10.
There are lots along that route but looked like many were prepaid. Maybe google around and see if you can find something early.
GL and regardless you’re going to have a great time being back, stadium and experience has changed a lot
