And his record is what? So why would you want to can a coach that just continues to win. Miles has won more games in first six years than any other coach LSU has had. We just don't win right!! "Right", is winning.

You guys have a great coach an great players 10-2 is just like 9-3 at Bama.....it just leaves a bitter taste in your mouth! 2 losses by 15 points is nothing to hang you head at but as a Bama fan Im bitching about 3 losses by 18 points. Good luck in your bowl game and Ill look forward to next season it should be another great LSU/Bama battle!!

Had enough? Good for the rest of us. Go to another board, pull for someone else and leave your negative crap off of here. We went 10-2, we play in the SEC and we just win. That's what matters, not how.

The OP made his points quite well, whether one agrees with them or not. This is a message board, a public forum for opinions. Who the hell are you to tell him to go to another board or pull for another team? The "I'm a better fan than you" crap on this Board just never stops. Disagree with him all you like, rip his premise to shreds. Discredit his points one by one. But please spare us the Superfan nonsense...

Great Points! What does that say about this staff? After 3 disappointing years, I have had enough. The saying "I'd rather be lucky than good" would apply to this team. LSU didn't deserve to go to the Poulan bowl or whatever it is called. F this coaching staff. They all deserve to be fired.

DAMN!!! That's some strong hate right there and just goes to show that some people will never be happy. There isn't a team i know of that ever won a national title without a lotta luck along the way. That's just the way it is. The ball takes funny bounces and sometimes they go your way and sometimes they don't. When every thing lines up just right (talent, coaching, breaks, etc.) then you can win a title, but that's never a give3n no matter how great a team is, or how great the coaching staff is.

Think of Boise State, a chip shot field goal away from being in line for a spot in the national title game should 1 or 2 fall this weekend, and the kick sailed wide.

But back to the coaches, I'd say the defensive side of the ball and special teams were some of the best in the country and earned their keep for sure. As to the offense, the lack of consistent QB play killed us. But let's give some credit where credit is due. Look at what happened to Texas, Florida, and no telling how many other top schools that didn't have solid QB play. Texas isn't even going to a bowl a year after playing in the championship game. I don't think their talent or coaching got that bad over night - it's a lack of consistency at the QB spot.

I actually think this team and this coaching staff have over achieved this year and deserve a lot of credit (though I still don't like Crowton's play calling and think he should go). Think about it. We finished the season how low on offense? I think someone said JJ finished as the No. 107 rated QB, but we still won 10 games. That didn't happen by accident.

I don't think you'll ever be happy!! Go pull for Oregon or TCU, they are blowing out most of their opponents.

What we should be thankful of is that Auburn came back and beat Bama. If Bama had won that game and then we played like we did against Arky, there would be a meltdown like you've never seen.

Teams in the SEC just "claw by with luck" every year. No one blows everyone out. Alabama went undefeated last year and won the title. Check all the close games they won. Auburn is undefeated this season but almost lost to Kentucky, Arkansas, and Alabama. The SEC is about winning close games. Its football and maybe part of the game is luck. I am happy to be lucky and 10-2..

Now that they are 3rd in the SEC west how do you REALLY feel?

This is irrelevant. Do you realize we won the National Championship with this same exact record with a loss to Arkansas or that we won the SEC with a 9-3 record?

Because only an idiot would call for a head coach to be fired after a 10-2 campaign. Who would come replace a fired coach who's 10-2 and in the top 10?

You can make these points for 90% of Auburns games as well.

Who am I to tell him to leave? Reread his post. He says he has had enough. So go somewhere else and back another team. What I am sick of is the crap people put on here about how "we don't win right", "well those wins over Florida and Bama didn't mean much because they weren't that good this year", "we should have lost to Tennessee and North Carolina". "Fire this coaching staff".

We went 10-2, playing in the best conference in the country. There are no days off.
So, again, his feelings are, I've had enough. Great, leave.

btw... do you remember 2007??

seriously where would we be today...
...if huey long wouldnt have been such a tiger fan and expanded the stadium with dorms
...if billy cannon never does the halloween run
...if devery would have dropped the ball
...if saban would have never come to lsu to turn the program around
...if josh reed stays at rb and marcus spears stays at te
...if katrina never happened and we win the seccg in 05
...if our coordinators wouldnt get head coaching jobs just when their systems begin to be in place
...if the bcs wouldnt exist
...if we could pay players legally
...if mike the tiger would have never existed and we wold still have lil eat-em-up
...if the germans had not bombed pearl harbor (animal house reference)
...if lsu would have never been established in 1860
...if the football team would have never invaded cuba (would they like America otherwise)
...if ray wright would have dropped the robbed homerun
...if warren morris had never been recruited to lsu
...if knew what the words clock management meant
...if the South would have won
...if George Washington would have surrendered to the brits
...if columbus had never sailed the ocean blue in 1492
...if God would not have created the universe

...I wonder where we would be

JMath,
great, great post. I have posted similar, starting with lets fire the OC, head coach, president of the university, governor, etc. Negative opinions with no other solutions except fire the coach say a lot about the mentality of some of the people who post on here.
We are LSU, on national tv almost every week, and are an elite program. We have two crystal footballs and there will be more. Too many people just don't remember the seasons about a decade ago, in which we would be in a tight game and sit and wait to see how we were gonna lose. Now we wait to see how we're gonna pull it out.

Do you not remember what had to happen in 03

In 03 we were actually a great team and beat people up and down the field with regularity. We only needed luck at all was b/c the BCS underweighed the human polls then. Also, we were still a college football lightweight at that point so we didn't get the benefit of the doubt in the polls throughout the year.

Now 07, yeah we needed a shitload of luck to be in that title game.

This year's team wasn't close to either of those teams. We needed ridiculous luck not to be 7-5 this year.

but looking at things the way that some people do they would analyze the season by saying...
we needed a desparation catch against uga
we loss to uf
and we needed eli to trip
