by the logic that we are still THE dominate team b/c they snuck by aus with sr vs rs fresh......
then how close are they to taking over since our NATIONAL CHAMPION team escaped them last year by a late score??
programs are built over years, and despite us being 6-3 we are still THE PROGRAM in the sec b/c of the sec titles and 2 bcs titles in this decade, Fla is a whisker behind us, UGA is the ugly step sister , Auburnis slightly ahead of Tenn, and Bama is behind them.
a bama SEC title moves them ahead of Tenn and Aubby for decade, and a national title moves bama to just ahead of UGA and right behind Fla.
Bama maintains this run for 3 more years, with bcs bowl wins, another sec title and if they happen to get a crystal ball the Program wise Bama leaps close to top....

Insecure much??
Not at all.
However, LSU fans seem to have more than a few insecurity problems right now.
And, I must say, with the shite your fan base base has given to us over the past several years, it couldn't happen to a better group of people.

Bama got lucky at LSU. You almost got beat in overtime, you were outmatched, out gained in yards and first downs, and generally manhandled by our defense.
Bama caught lightning in a bottle this year by virtue of the fact that Tenn. sucks (bad), Auburn sucks (even worse), and LSU has a horrific QB.
LSU has to play Florida in the regular season, Bama doesn't. Bama's biggest game with their rival Auburn won't even be a hard game for them.
Enjoy it now while you have it, becuase I don't see you winning an SECC this year because you will get smoked by Florida, and next year with a Freshman QB you will get abused all year.
