He's a leader, and instead of forcing a ball he takes off running. We haven't had that in a while so it's nice.
That's called being scared to throw the ball b/c you have a noodle arm and no confidence in your throwing abilities.
Instead of taking chances, we just go three and out all the time. We trade possible first downs, touch downs, and interceptions, for three and outs.
jarrett Lee's 2008 offense scored 31 ppg, throwing ints everywhere. We are at 27ppg this year. jarrett lee's 2008 offense had a higher 3rd down conversion rate than this year, and this years' numbers don't have Bama bringing them down yet. I am by no means saying what JLee did in 2008 was good, but it was expected from a true freshman, and he still found ways to get the team points despite the turnovers b/c he wasn't afraid. Difference in these scenarios is one guy is a true freshman, and the other is a 5th year senior with 30 something starts in his career. the senior should be smart enough to know when to take the chances and when not to, but we just out of precaution, never take the chances.

He takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. He needs consistant protection in the pocket, and if the pocket collapses, he has some escapability. However, the situation has been the lack of protection and when...not if...the pocket collapses.
