Etling was 11/24 for 92 yards and 1 interception. His QBR was 5.8 and generated 6 total first downs.

To be fair, he said drop backs. But, he’s still lying. If Etling had 24 attempts and was sacked 5 times then he dropped back at least 29 times.

Last year he still had a higher passer rating than Flynn and after O took over his rating was higher than all but Hodsons best season. But last year was a run heavy offense especially early. He did match Maucks number of 300 yard games and did it vs a much better team last season.

Agreed. He made up his own stat, which he's done all morning, that Etling was hit on 22 of 27 drop backs. When in reality, Etling was hit on 8 of 29 drop backs - 5 sacks and 3 quarterback hurries.

I don't think the NCAA keeps track of QB knockdowns. I think hurries and knockdowns are all counted as QB hurries. If that's the case, then Etling was only hit at most 8 times.
I'm still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt if you can post a link to where you got your 22 hits stat from.
