That's right, Rose since Oregon woulda played in championship.
I gotta give USC props. That was vicious. And I said OSU could win that game. 2nd drive of the game: 1st&goal @5, 3 straight running plays, miss FG. Game over.Their coach has no testicles!! Talk about a boring team to watch.

I usually like Fowler's stuff, but didnt OSU have like 70 yards of offense against UF.
I'd contend that the beatdown UF put on them was even worse then the beatdown USC put on them because of that very reason.

Ohio State outplayed Florida on the opening kickoff.

ESPN continues to jack your chain with their money and their team.

Fowler is only pointing out that the USC-OSU game was a more complete dismantling of OSU on the national stage than the previous two national championships. OSU "outplaying" LSU at times could easily be attributed to the first quarter of the 2008 NC game.
It is certainly too early to be drawing these types of conclusions about USC though.
we don't take to kindly to rationalitisms round heeeay

FWIW, from a Buckeye perspective, I was proud of how we played against LSU, but how we played against UF and USC was an absolute joke.

ESPN angle this year is to make money over the disgust of ESPN by LSU fans. Psychology is to use reverse psych to get LSU fans to watch them so they can hate them more. In my case, I watch their stations less and less; will use an alternative source.

but I also agree with him that no one - no, not even LSU - could beat USC unless USC did it to themselves.
Isn't that attributed to bad coaching?? Losing to a 40 + underdog w/ FAR superior talent....

The "stretches" they are talking about is primarily the first 5 minutes of the game. Other than that LSU stomped a "mud hole" into tOSU.

The annual ESPN claim that USC is " the greatest of AAALLLLLL Time" has begun early.
ESPN's bias is real, regardless of their motives.
To use partial truths to arrive at a comprehensive result, is also very common in politics. It's a sleazy tactic, shame on Fowler.
I'll watch the game today on ESPN, but I will use technology against them. I'll pause at commercials to get some eats and drinks, then fast forward thru all of their commercials.
