"LSU: The Tigers were the best in the SEC in 2014 against opposing pass defenses and there’s plenty of talent still in LSU’s defensive backfield to keep the good times going. Jamal Adams really came into his own late last season and is poised to be a star. Tre'Davious White is the only starting corner returning but he is a big-time player. Safety Jalen Mills returns, too. The Tigers need to find a corner opposite White but have plenty of talented players to compete for that spot."

This is not a surprise at all. The surprise to me is Bama is rated at 8th... Saban's specialty...even if last year was clearly a weakness for them.

I think the Defensive backfield in '15 may rival those of '03, '07 and '11 as the best of all time in BR.

DB's look strong for sure, and ESPN likes LSU's special teams.

In other positions, ESPN places LSU squarely in the middle of the SEC.

Obviously QB is a concern, and defensive line and linebacker will be a work in progress, but ESPN is clearly not sold on the LSU tailbacks.

DB, RB, and OL should be top 3, WR top 5, everything else is middle of the pack or lower
