I hate the fact that he “called” the game. It’s funny, cause the dude literally was about to cry on national TV. And the last inning you could hear his excitement when Arky scored, then straight up devastation when LSU won

There is definitely a small contingent of fans that fit this description. What kind of miserable life do you live, if you have to go find something negative to post about after a win like that? It took two hours for me to come down from the high of that win, so I could go to sleep.

I just don't understand some of you people

It was a very emotional game, and as it turned out, not in Arkansas favor, and anyone with any ounce of a heart feels bad for the players, especially the SS and LF.

Let it go. Kyle summed it up...heartbreak for Arkansas, and LSU does what they do.

They were reacting as neutral observers. And most would feel the heartbreak. Not mad at it. ESPN is absolutely happy LSU is still in it.

yeah, I gotta agree - that's a huge part of the story - another gut wrenching loss in Omaha for Arkansas where a defensive gaffe cost them the game....and in this case two defensive gaffes.

But hey, we had our struggles defensively as well. The game was exciting but it was not a clinic on defense.

Geaux Tigers!!

My theory is that they were latching on to the no-hitter story, and thus the Arkansas team. It’s certainly understandable.
However, it pissed me off. I kept thinking that maybe it’s all in my head, but they did nothing to disprove that.

There are plenty of other whiners. Like you. The facts are not on your side.

"Peterson’s interview with SVP was a struggle. It looked like Peterson’s dog died. He hated that he had to compliment LSU.”

Peterson paused before answering SVP but he said that it was “LSU being LSU.” I think that’s a great compliment.

Not only that, but he then finished by saying the great thing about it now (LSU winning) is you've got "strength on strength" going into the Finals with both teams having their rotations lined up.

But victims ignore that kind of stuff when they're bitching about perceived slights.

What do expect? For broadcast Arky v Coastal was a better story line. Arky looking for their first CWS ring after knocking of Goliath who happens to be a conference rival and Will the streak continue for Coastal.

I don't like to defend ESPN, and there is plenty I could talk about that I don't like about their broadcasts, but when it comes to college baseball, they have every reason to want LSU in this as long as possible, just like the city of Omaha loves when LSU is there. It's great for business, and great for views. LSU made college baseball cool in the first place, and our fan base is huge.

I think they just got too caught up last night feeling sorry for Arkansas, and forgot that there was a team that won the game.
