Florida has a great roster but mike White isn’t good enough to be a top 5 team.

Would be great if USC and Utah state can stay in the top 25 all year. VCU just missed this list. Those games along with a game vs. a top big 12 team would give us a pretty good non-conference schedule.

IDK they were a tough out for us (obviously) even with average talent last year. I think White has done a pretty good job.
Think this is fair placement for LSU, but it's good to be in the preseason mix.

White took them to an Elite 8. With the talent they have, no reason to think he isn't capable of coaching them to that level.

The preseason ranking, ESPECIALLY in basketball, doesn't mean hardly anything. Wade appears to be one of those coaches whose teams get better as the year progresses, which imo is the mark of an excellent coach.I have little doubt we will finish with 25-30 wins this, and most years he is here.

Based upon? I'm not against will Wade. This is year 3 however. Basketball doesn't take years to rebuild. Some great schools practically rebuild every year. I grew up when final fours and elite 8's were a reality at lsu. If he is in fact the best coach on campus, he needs to lead his team to an elite finish. To me, they are about a 15-25 type team. Nice, but nothing elite. Again, I like and want will Wade to be our coach, but some of you have a tendency to go overboard with him.

Let me dumb it down for you. As will Wade heads into year 3, it appears he won't crack preseason top 20. Was hoping to be moving forward, not backwards.
