ESPN was a bit rough on RP

They rode him the whole game and at the end made a comment that he "got kicked out of school" rather than "off the team". Brutal, just brutal. I wonder how ole Ryan feels right now.

Like crap?
Agreed, they were rough on the kid.

Probably pretty stupid because all the ESPN guys talking about me were correct and I couldn't stay in school where I was the heir apparent to the National Championship team with hundreds of thousands of people ready to love me and everything I did and be a high draft pick in the NFL and become a millionare and have my family set for life, but instead I couldn't look past my own selfish "wants" that look pretty stupid now that i look back on it.
Is that close???

I think you nailed it.

Agreed, RP had all the talent in the world. He will now be the next "Boobie Miles" trying to put a rap group together when you cant pay your bills. Oh well thug life huh?

You really think RP cares?

WTF Boobie couldn't play due to injury, don't hate on Boobie. "If you want to win, put Boobie in."

Do you really think RP was watching tonight? He is probably out doing something that he shouldnt do
Posted on 8/11/08 at 10:40 pm to roygu
RP will still get a shot at the NFL because of his natural skills, even if he fricks up at Jstate, they'll be some team willing to take a shot.

No. He doesn't. He's too stupid to care.

hahaha yea that was on today what a great movie. Yea RP wont be exactly like boobie, but the end result will probably be similar.

Actually, I saw a quote just recently where RP was saying that he messed up and Miles and LSU gave him many chances to straighten up......he is trying to move on and make the best of the situation.
I hope he does well for his own sake.....

That's really all I was saying. I think ESPN used RP like Letterman uses George W. It went over as less than fair to someone like RP who did screw up, but now admits his problems and appears to be in the right direction.

I saw in a newspaper called the Anniston Star online that had pictures of JSU fan day and people were lined up all the way around the stadium waiting for him.

Like Marcus Vick?
Don't count on it... He keeps fricking up, The NFL isn't going to give a flying frick what kind of skills he has.
