i have a huge problem with Miles always trying to establish the run. first off, he hasn't gotten a Top level OL as a recruit since he's been here, secondly there seesm to be NO continuity in the running game since Crowton has taken over, so why continue to when it's just not working? Miles needs to realize, and then make Crowton realize, that their playmakers remain on the outside (WR) and get the ball into their hands. it's stupid to keep recruiting athletes and them letting them go to waste, cause you are so thick headed. if he wants to be a running team, line up in the eye and try and pound the rock. running the ball our of spread and pistol formations just isn't cutting it.

because LSU doesn't play in the WAC. You're not going to win in the SEC if you can't run the ball and you can't win in the SEC if you're one dimensional. Even the biggest Miles hater should acknowledge that.

but i think the impressive play by PP was all individual. yes he had teammates blocking for him, but he set up his blockers like a natural out there.

He used his blockers well...he didn't set them up. Blocking schemes on kickoffs are setup and practiced just like offensive/defensive plays.

Meh.

The ugly W helped LSU move up two spots in the rankings.

If the Tigers continue that trend, they should be #1 going in to the Mississippi game.

I wouldn't mind if the Tigers win all of their games just as ugly. The experts dogging LSU after each week about how bad they looked - as they creep up the polls.

At the end of the season everyone picking Boise State to beat the Tigers...

...and the Tigers go on to win the BCSCG just as ugly as all of their other games.

That would RULE!

That would be a great to the "experts".

...and then I woke up.

Florida did it for 10 years under Spurrier, and now the game has transformed to even more of a passing game. sorry man, this ain't the Big Ten where it's 3 yards and a cloud of dust, if you haven't realized teams are getting more and more athletes at perimeter positions. you can try and defend Miles all you want but if you don't have the scheme or Line to run the ball, it's not going to work and once again you'll be

in fact if you watch the returns he had, he used his blockers well to set up defenders running at him. maybe i should have worded that slightly different. but i forgot you cannot think outside of the white LSU hat box that you live inside.
