And didn't 16 come when he was a freshman(Lee)?

I think LSU's offense has more upside with Lee... but, he worries me more than Jefferson. I hope he puts that anxiety to rest Saturday night!

I hope Lee can find whatever he found in Florida last year and stick with that for 12+ games!

Let's not turn this into another JJ vs. JL thread.

Just pull for the QB, whoever that may be, to play a great game.

Why do our fans suck so much?

yes, and Jordan had 10 as a junior.

Which do you think is worse...a multi-year starter throwing 10, or a red-shirt frosh who has never played before?

Choose wisely.

Reading defenses and making bad decisions are not necessarily related. It's Lee's lack of fear in making poor decisions that hinders him (In the past.) It's JJ's absolute fear of making bad decisions that limit him.

This is the difference in a nutshell....and the way our team is constructed(defense/special teams), the coaches think that JJ was the safer bet....for example.....one QB has 18-ints in 9 starts and another has 18-ints in 27 starts.

Nice meeting such friendly, classy people. God bless you, sir.

FWIW I was thinking about where they were at the start of last year. I didn't know the gap was closed and I stand corrected on that, but Lee is still a pick machine.

Back to anyone willing to engage in a civil, intelligent debate about sports.... Here are the career pass attempt and interception totals:

Lee: 18 picks/398 passes (7 as TDs to the enemy) = 4.5% INT

Jefferson: 18 picks/578 passes = 3.1% INT

Lee is 50 more likely to throw one! C'mon man. Do you REALLY feel GOOD and FUZZY when Lee cocks his arm back to throw into coverage or are you just arguing to argue?

On top of that' when Lee was brought in last year and in '09, it was under some very controlled and limited conditions. Yet he killed us in the '09 Bama game and he struggled BADLY (7/22) against La. Tech!

That's the only time he was trusted at the controls for any extended period of time./ what does that tell you?

Really?? How many games did you watch last year? Lee easily won or saved us 3 games last year. He looked far better at the helm than JJ did last year.

If LSU can run the ball effectively against Oregon, I believe that will take the load off of Lee and cause him to be more effective when he does put the ball in the air. We must run block like wild. Sounds simplistic, but that's just the way I see it.
