ESPN hating on LSU tonight, in subtle ways...

Earlier, when Sportscenter just started, they had "7 LSU TESTED" being shown as coming up. They bump it back, show highlights of the Oregon and K State upsets, which I understand, but then cut to commercial before showing LSU.
Come back from commercial- Alabama highlights, LSU is gone.
Then they show highlights 30 minutes later, about two minutes from when I'm posting this and they show the busted play where the defense gave up because of the penalty and Ole Piss scores on the TD pass, with no mention of the setting of the play.
At least LES gives an inspired speech and FORCES the worldwide leader to give us some airtime.
Good job coach, lets roast some pigs!

You're too sensitive to what ESPN says and does. I suggest you gain some perspective.

ESPN is run by a bunch of yankees and Big 10 homers. Why would we care about what they think?

ESPN hates LSU, if you think I'm the only one who noticed that tonight...
They do it for others, it just so happened that they did it to us tonight. Can't let it slip by TD Nation.

LSU isn't in the nc picture. Why would ESPN hurry and show LSU when they still have to show the highlights of teams who actually have a shot at the ncg.

Its not that I'm too sensitive, I just wish they would get their shite straight across the board.
If I could watch another channel to view football highlights right now, I would, but lets face it, Skysports isn't going to show LSU highlights, CST is on "paid program" already- terrible, FSN is showing "Big 12 Live"- fricking snoozer, NBC Sports is showing "World Series of Fighting 1"- which can be seen on youtube via street fights- random violence and that is it.
Therefore, we are left with shitty ESPN, why NBC sports or FSN can't have college football highlights for three hours straight after the primetime games are done on Saturday night is beyond me. I don't know if its viewing rights or what, but someone could step up.

Yeah I went hunting this morning, then went to the game, got to think about the losses this year that shouldn't have been but were.
I'm being a homer, I realize this, but I'm just getting tired of being force fed ESPN for my college football viewing pleasure.
When I was watching, the Oregon and K State games were already final, maybe they hadn't announced it yet, but I know they were.
I also understand that we are out of the National Championship picture, so we shouldn't get top billing, but USC certainly got plenty of attention, I know they were playing their primary rival, but they aren't even top ten.
I'm going to continue to fight the good fight and say that ESPN needs competition so they can be better and in one way or another, ESPN hates LSU.
(does the Les Miles bowling move)

More like teasing us slightly while showing us props, imo.
I'm a beleiver that espn hates on us, but even though they laughed at Miles, after playing his full speech they admittedly that it was pretty awesome.
While Miles is less than gracefull, his passion is evident, no one can doubt that. Small wonder why he recruits so well, and has players that play their asses off for him.

Wow this really has to stop. Every damn day there is a new thread about this shite. People, ESPN does not have a hidden agenda against LSU or the state of Louisiana. They are in the business to make money and are apparently pretty good at it. If you don't like what they have to say, change the damn channel. Geaux tigers!!
Posted on 11/18/12 at 12:17 am to jdaute2
I don't really believe about the agenda about LSU or any individual state/team/region.
However, I do believe that ESPN's lack of a rival/competing network allows for them to be subpar when it comes to some of their broadcasting techniques, etc.
When they screw up and its against one of our teams: Tigers/Saints/Hornets, etc., I like to point it out, like most of the rest of TD Nation.

Making a big deal out if hardly anything.
It's not that serious.
