Let's see...we won the SEC, are a Top 8 seed, won our regional 3-0, and are playing a 4th seed from a regional at our park for a trip to the CWS.

Exactly what hasn't gone our way to this point in time? :usa

Not to you, but some of us really seem to need to get laid in a bad way to maybe chill us out a tad.

Well, I think some here feel with what you said, ESPN should defer to its parent and have ABC televise each game in primetime and work out a deal with the Dodgers where Vin Scully does the play by play and for those who have to work or don't have access to TV have Marty Brennaman from the Reds' network do play by play on every clear channel AM station in America like WWL,KMOX,WWWE,WHAS,WCBS,etc.

What's your point? I just hope the damn NBA playoffs don't spill to far into the weekend and take LSU's righful timeslot on ABC.

By the way, you people who don't buy my NYC conspiracy theory, i guess i need to remind you of one other thing:

Friday night Subway Series--Yankees vs. Mets. Again tell me this had mothing to do with SJU and Stony Brook getting day games. Even if 10 people in the NYC market want to watch like you theorize, now they won't be inconvenienced.

You people will never get it.

I think LSU, SB would garner a lot of attention, how often does some nobody make it to a SR. Ever heard of Cinderella?? Also, is the game 11am CT??

Sometimes I wonder about some of our fans.

How many people knew of Stony Brook before the tournament? My guess is there are a lot of baseball fans, that didn't even know there was a Stony Brook Baseball team. Why would it be a primetime game? It's common sense.

I wasn't familiar with them before this year, but I feel that they are going to put up a good fight. Hope I'm wrong!!

i'm not 2nd guessing their ability, but all the complaining about how espn hates us because of the game times is by far one of the dumbest things I've seen on this board. It's freaking Stony Brook! who would put that on tv at night? !!!

Somebody had to play in the 11 AM timeslot and it couldn't be a West Coast team. ESPN should have someone read Tiger Rant and the Saints Talk to get some good laughs.

I agree someone had to play at this time. ESPN. But I will say this even though I have all the faith in the world in our Tigers... SB evidently is playing pretty well. They must have some talent or just extremely well coached. I don't think they will come even close to winning this series but never underestimate the power of a hungry underdog!!!

There's no question that they have talent. However, their expecations are nowhere near what LSU's are every year.

I'm just in the middle on them. While I do think LSU should, and will win. It's baseball, and even though they have faced weaker competition, they can't be looked over. They're batting .336 (I think) on the year. With the crappy bats, even if it's against weaker pitching, .336 is still good. Especially, since there aren't even 30 teams with an average over .300
