Here's another thought. Mett starts and sets the world on fire. Does the fanbase look back on this year and question why he didn't get a legit chance?




With out a doubt... There was never a thought in Les's mind about using Lee or Mett last night. My thing is he said he didnt play Lee because of the pass rush. In other words it was more important to let his Jeffy boy stink up the whole field and take every other player on that teams chance to win away from them. He didnt know how the outcome would be if he took a chance on Lee.... Lawd knows he couldnt have done any worse than Jeffy...

But I really don't blame you. I'd feel that way too if my team didn't have to earn it this year. LSU did earn the RIGHT to be in title game. Not sure if you remember or not but you LOST to LSU on November 5 2011. The fans and Saban did enough whining and crying on national tv to pull at someones heart strings. You lost to an undefeated team and you shouldn't be there. But it is done and we will send your butts back to Bama beaten by the undefeated team one last time. But we all know yall including your coach will whine and cry about a call or a ref or the turf was so ruff it chafed your lil hineys. I just cant wait.

And 11/5 cost Alabama the SEC champion.

Since this is a support thread... I will say this I support LSU completely as a team but when you as a player take it upon yourself to put the whole team that you are a huge part of in jeapardy, its really hard to understand that selfishness. I support them to not be selfish and stupid. But is a few minutes of getting high worth throwing away a dream season. If being a champion is not what they want then I understand the actions but don't take the whole team down with you. This is why people are upset. I support LSU but I don't support actions that bring the team and coaching staff down to dealing with these issues when they should all concentrate on one game at a time till we are handed that Championship trophy... Not this Bullshite!!!!!

The character of this team has been on display since the Oregon game when they came out amid what some people call scandal and played with pride dignity and class... They are brutal and physical but they are good and they are handling every situation handed to them with Tiger Pride... If that isn't character then I do not know what is...

Ok I think this all goes back to this... Being an LSU Tiger should be an honor and privilege. You are held at a higher regard. Your going to be watched. Your going to be targeted for the good and the bad. You have to decide how you handle a situation. If a situation arises and you know its questionable... don't put yourself in a situation to be judged or arrested or accused.

I know the "booing" issue has been discussed here before but can you imagine the noise aka booing in Tiger Stadium if or when he is re-instated. I think everyone would be talking about it if he were... But this extremely opinionated Tiger Fan hopes he isn't. I wish him well, but I like our chances better without him as starting QB.
