I agree with this, as a 3rd rounder.

Although I do believe Ridley will be a good pro and have a good career barring injury. But I am happy for him, he gonna make a little more coin as a 3rd rounder than as a 5th.

Ridley is a bigger back than Ingram, and did much better than Ingram in all the other drills at the combine

no he didn't. Ingram had the best cone drill workout out of all the running backs

Ridley was not a stretch in the 3rd round.

he's a stretch in the 3rd because he had a good chance of being there in the 4th

Comparing him to Ingram is laughable. His combine numbers may have been comparable to Ingram, but Ingram blocks great out of the backfield, is fantastic catching the ball (especially on screens), and had a more productive college career.

Actually Ridley fits perfect in the NEP system. If he gets through camp, there is no doubt he'll get plenty of utilization.

What I really hate is that he went to the New England Cheaters. Oh well, Kevin Faulk has had a great career up there. I'd just love to see few LSU players play for good, decent coaches like Sean Payton.

not by a long shot. Ingram had one of the worst cone drills among running backs at the combine. Ridley smoked him with a time of 6.78 seconds compared to 7.13 seconds for Ingram.

for what its worth, my dad has been a scout and general manager in the nfl for 31 years. Hands down, Ingram is a really good back. May be the next emmit smith if injuries don't plague him. as far as ridley goes, he was not worried about the 40 times with him. said he has really good feet, etc. Expects him to be a better nfl back than a college back.

Right. I'll bet Belichek felt like a real idiot after ESPN declared it a stretch. Picture him slapping his forehead and mumbling, "What was I thinking?"

Who cares? Ridley will do fine but probably was pretty shocked to go that soon. Good luck to him he gave his all for LSU

Does anyone know who Jason Peters is? He's a good friend of mine, and he was not drafted out of Arkansas, and Now he is the highest paid Offensive Lineman in the History of the NFL, and a 4 time Pro Bowl selection. 60 million big ones, and he is one of the best in the league, so the draft means squat!
