How do you know that the Tigers are "better than Nebraska?" They didn't play each other and Nebraska DID finish with a better record. That's an idle boast without any evidence to back it up.

2 teams don't have to play each other to determine who is better.

Hell, 2 teams can play each other and that STILL doesn't always determine who is better, just who is better that day.

It's all they know. LSU lost 4 gms. this year to Nos. 1, 3, 9 and 20 (in the final polls). Nebraska is solid, though. Bo Pelini's got a good thing going out there.

Think it was the way LSU looked against crappy teams that was more telling. Will see what next season holds. I could see anywhere from 9-3 to 7-5. LSU hasn't beaten a very good football team since GT, and they are even sketchy on defense.

This years non conference schedule doesn't give LSU 4 instant wins like some years, the last two in particular. Hopefully LSU can beat at least UF or Ole Miss this season.

Preseason polls are meaningless. I always look at where I think LSU will finish, and that is anywhere between 25 and 12 next year.

The DL was horrible this year. Losing 3 starters may make this unit better.

The OL underachieved all season. New blood, especially at RG and Faulk stepping in at LT could improve this unit.

We should beat UNC, WVU and win the other 2 OOC games. The SEC championship will come down to the Arkansas game, with LSU vying with Alabama the SECW. The Arky D not be good enough to win in 2010.

Looking at a 10-2 regular season. Better if JJ progresses. If he doesn't? I put him on the bench for Garrett.

Spot on my friend. Spot on.

The DL will be improved next year. This past seasons' group just weren't legit.

Pellini shutting down our offense this year would have been like taking candy from a baby.
Didn't NE DOMINATE that ULL team that we went through the motions in Tiger Stadium?

That Suh guy from Nebraska would blow through our o-line and sack JJ atleast 8 times guaranteed. I doont know why people think we could beat Nebraska. People in order to beat someone you have to score points, and I dont think LSU can score against Nebraska.

We always seem to do well when nobody thinks we are any good. I'll take #18 (my lucky number!!!)

We will be lucky to go bowling next year.

I hope this is sarcasm. Do you realize how many SEC bowl tie-ins there are?

Nebraska is not better than LSU, sorry! You can believe what you want too...

In '09 I'd give you a wash just because Nebraska's offense was so unpolished...still I bet after the Texas game they would have been favored to beat us and rightfully so

In '10 I fully expect Nebraska to be better than us in every facet of the game.....sad but true.....this falls directly back on coaching.
