Because if you look at JJ and Lee in game film side by side , you will notice that Lee has a much quicker release than Jefferson.

1 point for Lee
Now who has the quicker feet and more speed?

I'd put Mett in first, but I'm not the coach.

Honestly, how many of you think the game will be close by halftime?
That's not the point. It's been kicked around that JJ MUST PLAY in order to beat Bama and Florida. That theory makes my head explode!!!

Gray, with no passing game, LSU has very little chance to beat Uf much less the gumps. Mr. Jefferson is the antidote to a passing game. He just cannot do it. That dog just won't hunt.

Put Mr. Jefferson in the slot if he can catch. There may be some plays in which he is useful, but I cannot imagine what they are.

Why do you think that Miles will?
Don't you have confidence in him?

Last year, there were several games where JJ was clearly struggling, but instead of inserting JLee, he continued to run JJ onto the field. So from a historical standpoint, I have reason to believe he will go back to JJ. Sorry that I don't have the same blind trust that you do.

Les likes advantages (as do all coaches) and he will do just about whatever it takes to get the advantage. Having to prepare for 2 different QBs is a disadvantage to a defense. I'm not, nor have I ever said we have to play 2 QBs, but if you think Les won't do it to gain an advantage, you haven't been paying attention.

I trust that Les miles knows more football than you or I do.
I trust that Les Miles knows more about the psyche of this team than you or I do.
I trust that Les Miles has a better handle on what it takes to win football games than you or I do.
I trust that Les Miles acts for the benefit of the team, not for you or me.

You do know that without 2 QBs in 2007 we would not have won the NC, don't you?

You're assuming that both QB's are dead even in contributing to the win and the success and momentum we have right now with Lee at the helm is irrelevant. That's just plain wrong.

Good for you ... but Miles is still subject to making mistakes, desite GrayTiger's undying trust.

I agree but not in slot but rather outside... he has height, reasonable speed, and he played a little receiver in High School before being qb .... Im not saying he should start but if he has decent hands he could help... after all we have had a good case of the drops this season

So he has no completions against either team?
Or ever?
Who has stated that Jefferson will play all of the time all of the games?
You can not imagine the advantage to having a seasoned and experienced QB in reserve?
You can't imagine the advantage of having a QB that brings an added element to the offense.
Sir, your imagination seems to be seriously limited.

We all make mistakes but all of the hand wringing and teeth gnashing over something that may never happen and/or over which you have absolutely no control is a little foolish don't you think?

My dear MR. GRAY, you miss the point entirely. Who said that he has never completed a pass. Of course he has, but he is an incompetent passer if you believe his statistics to say nothing of actually seeing the man play the past several years. That dog just won't hunt. He need to view the games from the sidelines, IMHO.
