I think some want him to play enough this year, albeit in a limited role, to burn up his elligibility.
As I see things now, this is the ONLY advantage there is to playing him..... other than an injury to Lee or Lee's performance totally tanks. I don't think I can take another year of this QB soap opera.

Jefferson isn't great but don't just makeup whatever retarded thing comes to your mind to try to downgrade him.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes?

BTW ... good research. I honestly could not remember JJ beating the blitz, but you proved me wrong. Also, I'm going to support whoever lines up at QB (hell, I defended Hatch), but I really don't want to see the current chemistry of this team disrupted. Right now the offense is working ... I hope Miles doesn't tamper with it unless necessary.

Do you want Mett to transfer?

Mett has 3 to play 3 ... a transfer at this point would mean sitting out another year and having only 1 year to play (unless he goes to an FCS school)

I agree he wont transfer but I rather see mett next year than have jj come back off of a redshirt.... If that means jj runs a wild tiger 5 times a game then i hope he does... I only pray that miles keep jl as #1 with all the end of game snaps

And there will be a post here complaining about all of them. In advance.

Not surprised. He probably needs at least 3 weeks of practice after his layoff to get back into playing shape.

Few people have mentioned this. Lee is the only one of the two that has recent combat experience.

I have asked this question to several people that have posted the same thought. No one answered.
Why do you think that Miles will?
Don't you have confidence in him?

Not only that, it's two different things. Practice and live game. He'll have to be ready when the time comes. Getting hit in practice and a live game are two different things.

Honestly, how many of you think the game will be close by halftime? If Les thinks putting JJ in the game to hand the ball off for 2 plays will give him an advantage against UF, he's gonna do it.

Because if you look at JJ and Lee in game film side by side , you will notice that Lee has a much quicker release than Jefferson. Gray I know this is way down the line but Im answering why Saban would throw an all out blitz on Jefferson as opposed to doing the same with Lee, IMO.

Every time I open one of these threads I lose more brain cells, but the guys that start these are losing even more in starting them. Can we please give this topic a rest? It has been beaten to death and not one mind has been changed and not one new idea has been advanced since JJ's reinstatement.
