actually no, because i wanted to leave Jlee in during that year, i knew that he had the character to work through it and become better, i coached against his dad that year and remember talking to him about it, he said he had faith that his son would remember the lessons he learned at Brenham, said he went through the same thing there just on a different level...but he still prevailed...

You can't convince me that the LSU fanbase does not constantly scream for the backup when the starter is screwing up.
Read it in every JJ/JL post this season and others.
It's not JJ blinders. I just want the bashing to stop. I support ALL team members. JJ is still a Tiger as is Lee. If any of y'all were bashing Lee I'd defend him too.

I guess you were perfectly happy with a qb leading LSU to 0 first downs in an entire half vs UGA and then the Bama debacle after which he tells the fans how well he played

Even Lee when he wasn't ready in '08, brought the Bama game to OT.
JJ looked horrible. Put me out there at QB, I can play that "good."
And I really have backed him when few Tiger fans would. His condescending remarks after the game are a stick in the eye to other players and fans.
Glad he's gone. Thinking about it, I don't think I'll care where he ends up, like I've followed past seniors moving on to the NFL. If he even gets there.

There is a BIG difference between criticism and threats/racial slurs/bashing. If you don't know the difference, then I don't know what to tell you, but at a game, I heard someone use the N word to describe JJ. WTF is that all about???
I'm not happy at the outcome of the MNC. I don't know of any LSU fan who is. You can't blame 0 first downs on just the QB. The entire offense was flat in the first half of the SECCG.

FYI my two favorite LSU qb's are Tommy Hodson and Rohan Davey and if I had to pick one to win a big game I would pick Rohan

I said JJ wasn't the ONLY one to blame. OL horrendous, play calling horrendous, coaching horrendous, inability to adjust = NOT ALL JJ's fault.

JJ always looks confused when he doesn't get a read option run in his favor.
JJ wasn't a option QB, but they tried to make him one. We needed a passer on Monday, and JJ isn't that.
JL can pass but can be baited into interceptions. We loose with both due too ineffective game planning.

For the past 4 years, LSU has been among the most talented teams in the country in every position except Quarterback. Not just talking about JJ. Both JJ and JL are just average compared to most of the rest of the SEC.

When there is so little difference between the two, every fan base does this. It's silly to think it's LSU only. JJ really didn't offer enough of a difference to prefer him at all, and Lee probably didn't either....in hindsight.

It's hard to feel sorry for a kid that obviously thought he was too special to study film for the last four years. He has had three decent games in his whole miserable existence as an LSU Tiger, and never once improved from game to game or season to season. I wake up every day and thank God that JLee had a bad RS Freshman year, because it gave jj the chance to play that year and lose his redshirt. SEEEEE YAAAA!! good luck playing tight end in the CFL ehhh

one part of me wants to hate on jj, the superman bullshite, the comments, etc., but the other says he's just a young man who gave it his best. You cant expect him to walk over to Miles and say, "here's the ball coach, I'm not getting it done, we need to try something new, because otherwise, we have zero chance" Think Les n Co. shoulda made that call. With that said, i'm totally with you, i'm sooooo glad the pet syndrome (at least for the moment) is history
