This doesn’t get the attention that is needed.
We as a team look to be a healthy and strong at every position including the OLine(w/ many Freshman) and can compete with anyone when Jayden is on all game long without obvious and dragging players.
Point is if this was any other season under any other Nutrition or Strength Program we would be lucky to win 6 games ending 2021 with 39 scholly players.
Back in the day Your Strength program and who ran the show (ex Moffit) pretty much dictated how physical your team was vs the opposition.
Now with an Adult in charge he understands the Strength doesn’t happen as well without proper nutrition based on each players needs because their personal physiology is different than the teammate next to them.
Again 8-2 is one thing but to still be short in depth in many and still see and energized team in OT ready to take victories is a beautiful thing.

May have something to do with a reduction in injuries.

Oh I think if you did statistical BS most injuries that happen later in game is due to players doing some shite out of the ordinary and laboring.

This is a good read about Matt Frakes. He's the new assistant athletic director of sports nutrition. He came down with Kelly from Notre Dame. I've got to know him and he's a good dude.

I initially thought exhaustion on defense in the 4th quarter due to the lack of depth/rotation would show up in games where the offense is sluggish & has too many 3 & outs.

But, in fact, they have seemingly looked more energized in the 4th than they have in the 1st.

The new Nutrition & Strength programs have to be responsible for that, right? There's really no other explanation that I can point to.

I would not trust another nutrition team to better plan for opponent pissing in our breakfast.

While I agree with your statement , coaching isn’t really not broad enough to explain how well Kelly can run a program top to bottom.
It’s from Nutritionists all the way to the end of the Alignment with this guy. Impressive
