Any time a yellow seat is left empty, even it's only one in a large section of people, it shows up bright and beaming, no matter where you're watching from.

If we can't fill all the seats (obviously what you'd want instead), don't make them so glaring when they're not being used. Make them purple, or just something darker than bright yellow. Right now you can see empty seats from the goodyear blimp.

old people problem
refuse to give up season tickets but refuse to go or don't sell them
It's worse for baseball, it's a joke
They need to pull season baseball tickets that refuse to go or are holding them for regionals only
They are letting premium seats go unused

Many of the yellow seats on both the East and West sides are corporate seats. They are rarely, if ever, full. It's a shame, because it looks terrible on TV.

There’s probably a billion dollars of upgrades and repairs that need to be done for LSU sports, replacing functional seats in the football stadium is probably last on the list.

the crowd may have been loud, but you can't make that assessment through the TV.

The TV networks can adjust the crowd noise up or down, so you won't get a true determination through the TV.

Correct! The university hands out lower bowl tickets to employees and friends and most of time they aren’t all used.

LSU doesn’t care about the missing premium seats, as long as Grandpas paying those 1000s of dollars in TAF fees

The crowd that was there was fantastic...it normally is. Just not visually pleasing to have a bright yellow empty seat in a sea of people.

God forbid it's a whole row of yellow seats. Then I just watch the game in black and white.

...Ok I don't really do that.

Only empty seats that were noticeable on TV were the top of the East upper deck where the visiting fans typically sit.

Recruits said it was a great atmosphere. That’s the only people we need to impress. And if you want to see bad then look at rose bowl attendance past weekend.

After the second touchdown in the 4th it was like a mad dash to get out of the stadium. Was really weird. It wasn’t even that late at night

It was loud. All the way to the end. The atmosphere was great. In the upper west people did not leave until 2 or 3 minutes left in the game. Of course there’s always those that leave earlier. But it was nowhere near what some are making it out to be. The empty seats on the East Upper were away tickets not sold, in addition to it being directly in the sun for the first quarter or so. Unfortunately this was the camera angle shown most often. I rewatched it on TV and it looked packed everywhere else.

Hey, knucklehead, you will be old one day. Besides, you don't know who has the tickets so shut up. By the way, why isn't your arse in the stands?

Yeah, it's gonna be embarrassing for those of us who are still embarrassed by things like this.

And yes, I do realize there are much more legit things to be embarrassed about, but....we are who we are.
