I don’t think the effort was embarrassing. The results were but I didn’t see a lack of effort.

LSU scored 2 runs. 2.

This is absolutely laughable

Offense has been the reason we have been in games all year.

Call it superstition, but I’d rather not be #1 seed going into the post season. I hate that we played like dogshit the past 2 days, but I’m perfectly ok with being humbled and dropping down a few pegs.

Pitching? Did you not see the number times LSU had bases loaded and failed to capitalize?

Yea, I'm still waiting. I don't expect that question to be answered.

Mainly because it can't be. Not yet, at least.

This is simply untrue.

Even the most ardent fan knows and has expressed concerns about the pitching as a whole. This is a completely made up narrative.

Little needs to sit the pine. He had a good outing a few weeks ago, but that was mostly it. Hurd has been looking to come around, and we truly need that. Floyd is truly hit/miss and when he doesn't get squeezed or into his head, he's good. Everyone knows and has acknowledged our pitching woes.

We are 8 and 2 in our last 10 SEC games. Relax. I guess I am a sunshine fan. I like winning!

8-10 runs today wouldn’t have been enough.

I’m not worried about a regional or Super Regional, Omaha is the concern. Pitching depth is obviously extremely important in Omaha. The fact that our base running has been awful all year and our fielding is getting worse is also a serious problem when it comes down to winning a national championship.

No one is mentioning we could’ve won last night as we had the bases were loaded multiple times

Little and Collins regularly throw that big 12-6 slider, though neither of them can reliably execute. Unfortunately, in addition to walking batters all day long, those short hoppers also lead to plenty of PBs and WPs.

They are especially risky with HT since he tries to smother everything within arm's reach rather than actually blocking it.

This wasn’t as bad as the Iowa loss in Round Rock earlier this year.

Embarrassing effort

I agree. Your attempt at putting together a post in a thoughtful, intelligent manner is indeed an embarrassing effort.
