That wasn’t Rick’s idea. That was Saban’s. Saban told him to wait until all the faxes were received. Not only did Ricks screw over his teammates at LSU, he screwed over his new teammates day 1.

He's a mental midget. He'll probably do well at Bama but if they somehow end up eliminated from Championship contention, he'll shut it down. Then get drafted and he'll probably flame out in the league.

Yesterday was the first day he could declare a destination and have it count toward the transfer replacement rule. For both schools if I understand correctly. So LSU can count that as a scholarship player they can replace via the portal and Bama can count him as a replacement for anyone who transfers out.

Could he have waited until tomorrow? Sure, but when has he shown he has any patience at all.

Hating loosing Ricks or anyone that matters to Bama. Let’s not act like this guys was busting his arse and competing at the highest level for playing time. I am sure it’s going to be a reality adjustment, NS will law the law and Ricks will follow or transfer. Good luck to him unt he plays LSU

I think the thing most miss is these players become attached to these coaches. We only see it from the perspective as fans and we're glad they're gone. But when these coaches get fired it hurts players. Probably to the point where they just don't care what anyone says. Orgeron was such a likeable guy too. It's just a shame how it ended.

Forget if you are pissed at a school or mad because your position coach got run off or passed over. I’d have to find me a school that didn’t stab 85+ kids I’d just bleed blood with the past 1.5 years.

Dude was courting OSU last year
